We started working with residential home builders from Australia, New Zealand and the UK, providing them with a project management software from the US.

After setting up over a thousand building companies with Coconstruct, we realised the next thing they needed to be successful was quality leads.

Around the same time, Sky was studying marketing and quickly realised that what was being taught was outdated.

She found herself seeking more and more information outside of the curriculum to keep up with how sales and marketing were changing.

To focus on learning the new marketing strategies that were replacing the traditional methods, Sky ultimately changed focus to what was happening right now in business.

To put these new skills into practice, we started a marketing agency for residential home builders.

We built websites, developed a CRM system, managed Facebook and Google ads campaigns, and ran SEO strategies.

We noticed that although we were generating plenty of good opportunities for many builders, they were still struggling to grow their sales.

We discovered that it wasn’t the leads that were a problem. It was the sales process.

So we launched ACRIS Sales Training, a dedicated coaching program covering the entire sales process for residential builders.  

The closer we worked with builders, helping them to generate leads and close contracts, the more we realised that they were not making the kind of money they deserved.

It became clear that they also needed help increasing their margins and systemising their building companies.
That’s why, in 2014, we created the Association of Professional Builders, a business coaching company dedicated to helping established custom home builders generate more leads, more sales and increase their margins while improving the building experience for their clients. 

We have since coached more than 1,000 residential building companies in five countries and are growing our member base every day. 

Each of our members is a professional builder, committed to continuous improvement based on the idea of small, ongoing, positive changes, having a significant impact.

We provide the systems, templates, and training that residential home builders all across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States, need to grow their building companies safely and securely.

We do all of this with one clear vision, to improve the construction industry for both builders and consumers. 

Thanks to our founding members, we have continued to learn and improve our processes for growing a residential building company.
In 2021, we even wrote a book about it! Professional Builders Secrets shares the systems and processes that allow custom home builders to generate more leads and close sales at higher margins, while delivering a better experience for their clients.

It has reached the Amazon best-seller list, been read by over 2000 building company owners worldwide, and has over 50 5-star reviews.
To continue our dedication to improving the building industry, we launched APB Rewards in 2022. This partner program is a first-of-its-kind for any coaching company in the construction industry. Over the years we have created and nurtured relationships with service providers and suppliers within the industry to create a network of preferred partners. 

We now have discounts and rebates available for over 50 partners across Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada, and have paid out over $230K to our members in cash rebates.
Today, APB services over 800 building companies across Australia, the US, Canada, and New Zealand. Our members have seen consistent and profitable business growth, with dozens of documented case studies to back it up. This is all from applying APB’s sales, marketing, and financial systems and training to their businesses.

🚀 relume launches
For various reasons, Dan and Adam decide to turn down a $100,000 investment from Antler and start their own business venture, without taking outside investment.

To do this they would have to build a company that would be profitable in its first year. Not the next Uber of *insert clever idea*.

June 2020
After building 11 websites on Webflow in under 6 weeks as a way to test a number of business ideas, Dan and Adam decide to stick to what they know best and launch Relume - a company that designs and builds beautiful Webflow websites.
