About Sky

Sky is a proud member of the National Association of Women in Construction and has been honoured as one of the Top 100 Women in the industry from 2021 to 2023. Sky also secured a spot on Pro Builder Magazine’s 40 Under 40.

Sky’s journey began when her family moved from England to Australia when she was young.

Before even finishing high school Sky was accepted to university, however after just six weeks, she left, unsatisfied with the outdated teaching methods. Around the same time, her father Russ, who was involved in safety documentation for builders, wanted to transition into marketing services for builders.

Together, they founded ACRIS Services, a construction-focused marketing agency, which grew steadily for nearly a decade, and eventually became the Association of Professional Builders (APB) as you know it today.

Sky excelled at developing efficient systems and understanding the intricacies of their clients' businesses. By 19, she had even sold another business catering to builders.

With Russ, Sky co-founded the Association of Professional Builders with the goal of transforming the residential construction industry for both builders and consumers. Now, they assist hundreds of builders across five countries in implementing proven systems for growth.

In 2021 Sky Co-authored an Amazon best-selling book, 'Professional Builders Secrets', which has sold over 3000 copies and has over 50 5-star reviews.

Sky resides on Australia's sunny Gold Coast near family and friends, while her extended family remains in England.
